What it is

Anthropic's official skills repository ships production-ready skills for everyday office formats — PDF, Excel, PowerPoint, Word — plus a growing set of specialized workflows. Every skill is open source, MIT licensed, and maintained by the Anthropic team.

Why marketing teams should care

Most marketing work still ends in a deck, a spreadsheet, or a one-pager. These skills let Claude open, edit, and produce those files directly instead of dumping content into chat for you to paste manually. That removes the last copy-paste step from a lot of recurring workflows: monthly reports, campaign briefs, performance summaries.

Install in under five minutes

1. Clone github.com/anthropics/skills.
2. Drop the skills you want into your Claude Code ~/.claude/skills directory.
3. Restart Claude Code. The new skills appear in autocomplete and are invoked by name.

Three workflows to try first

• Monthly report deck — feed Claude your raw GA4 export and ask it to produce a branded PowerPoint with commentary per channel.
• Campaign brief PDF — turn a Notion brief into a stakeholder-ready PDF with one prompt.
• Budget reconciliation — let Claude diff this month's spend Excel against last month's and write the variance summary.
